Today there was active fire burning through canyon topography on the southside of the fire. For safety concerns forward progression has stopped to focus on flanking fire. Six homes were directly threatened, but saved due to structure protection efforts.
Tomorrow, crews will continue creating containment lines, patrol and mop up.
Resources on scene include Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS), Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS), Channing Fire Department, Boys Ranch Fire Department, Potter County Fire Department, and Moore County motorgraders. Assistance was provided by Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas Parks and Wildlife, and local law enforcement. All public roads have been reopened.

As of 2:00 pm, Wednesday December 15th, Texas A&M Forest Service is on scene at the Parker Creek fire. The fire is 1,000 acres and burning North west towards a small farming community called Northcamp. The fire is burning in tall grass and being pushed by strong winds. Texas A&M Forest Service resources on scene include 2 dozers, a motorgrader, and 13 engines, including a strike team from Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS). State resources from Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) and Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) returned to the Twin Creek Fire this morning to continue to patrol and mop-up. Minimal smoke was observed across the fire area and containment lines looked good. Some interior pockets of vegetation are burning but pose not threat to containment lines.
This afternoon, a 6-acre slopover occurred on the northwest corner of the fire near the heel. Fire resources as well as responders from the National Park Service and Dumas Fire Department responded and quickly contained the slopover.
Crews will be back on the fire tomorrow to continue patrolling, mopping up and checking containment lines.

Some interior pockets of vegetation are burning but pose no threat to containment lines. The plan for today is to ensure lines are complete and secure to prepare for elevated fire conditions tomorrow.
Elevated fire weather conditions continue today due to drought conditions, low relative humidity, and winds. Light, shifting winds are expected today. Winds are expected to be gusty again by Sunday afternoon helping to produce critical fire weather conditions over the fire area.

Judges Fire Update: December 10, 2115 hours
Location: approximately 8 miles northwest of Graham, Young County

Crews are currently working to contain the Judges Fire in Young County. Multiple dozers have engaged in constructing containment line around the fire. Due to extreme fire behavior with crowning and torching, multiple structures have been threatened and two structures were lost.
Fire Weather: Strong and gusty west winds will continue through the evening with gusts as high as 30 mph. A cold front will move through late in the evening resulting in a wind shift to the northwest/north beginning around midnight. Winds will remain strong and gusty through the night but will gradually decrease before sunrise Saturday. No precipitation is expected tonight. Humidity recovery overnight will be between 55 and 60 percent and low temperatures will remain above freezing. A much cooler and less windy day is expected Saturday.

Currently Fire activity had died down significantly due to good progress on containment, multiple structure have been saved despite the fire crossing HWY 287 in multiple areas.
Crews continue to work today putting in fire line and mopping up hot spots, TAMFS is still in unified command working with locals.
