6/21/23 Strawberry Prescribed Burn smoke column seen from Highway 108 near Little Swedin

Three firefighers watch over and ensure fire holds along the road.

The Crabtree Road closed from Highway 108 to the intersection of Forest Road 4N11/4N26. This closure is to protect the safety of firefighters as well as the public during firing along the road.

The Forest Service manages prescribed fires to benefit natural resources and reduce the risk of unwanted wildfires in the future.
