The Thompson Ridge Fire started on Wednesday, August 4, 2023, at approximately 5:55 p.m. The fire is located in the Tushar Mountains, 10 miles southeast of Beaver, Utah. The fire is burning in mixed conifer with a heavy dead/down timber component. Fire cause is lightning.  

No further updates will be made unless significant activity occurs.
