Air Attack flew the Blue Creek Fire at 430 pm and reported all lines are holding well and minimal to no fire behavior. No areas of concern presented at this time.

Fire  has been projected to be 4500 Acres and 40 % contained.  

Fire containment is 100%, 1,110 acres. Fire has been turned back over to the local VFDs and the landowner.

Fire containment is 90%, 1,110 acres. Crews will continue to staff the fire and improve containment lines.  

Fire containment is 80%, 1,110 acres. Crews have made significant progress in construction of containment lines. There is minimal fire behavior at this time.

Fire containment is 50%, estimated 1,286 acres. Crews will continue to construct, improve, and patrol containment lines. Hot and dry conditions today and Tuesday will result in elevated to near critical fire weather conditions.

Fire containment is 35%, estimated 1,286 acres. There are 6 miles of fire perimeter. Resources will continue to staff the fire tomorrow.

Fire containment is 20%, estimated 1,000 acres. Dozers are constructing line and engines are working along the fire perimeter. SEATs have been successful with retardant to stop forward progression of the fire. Extreme Heat advisory in place through Monday 7/13/2020. Temperatures above 100 with lower humidity.

Fire containment is 20%, estimated 150 acres. Multiple local departments are on scene, along with 63 TFS personnel, 1 Air Attack, and 4 SEATs. The fire is burning in grass and heavy brush with high potential for growth and problematic fire behavior.

7/19/2020:  Both fires are in mop up operations today.  The Jackson fire is 90 % contained and remains at 2,946 acres and the Horse Fire is 50% contained and remains at 228 acres.
