Crews were able to construct dozer line around the fire's perimeter yesterday and contain the fire to 227 acres. The fire is currently 92% contained.
One dozer will work with a strike team of 5 engines and a water tender this morning to "mop up" and patrol the fire's perimeter. Mopping up is a process where firefighters cool hot spots along the fire's edge to reduce the chances of the fire moving past its current perimeter.
High clouds will move across the area the fire area this morning. Winds will be out of the southwest shortly after sunrise and will gusts at times, with temperatures in the lows 100s.
