On August 12, around 4:00 p.m. Texas A&M Forest Service received a request for assistance on a fire burning approximately 4 miles West of Iowa Park, Texas in Wichita County.
Texas A&M Forest Service crews completed all containment lines and mop up operations, any fire activity was mitigated and the Burnett 109 Fire reached 100% containment by the end of the operational shift today.
