Texas A&M Forest Service resources continue to construct containment line around the area of the fire that slopped over the previous containment line. Additional resources arrived to assist as well, forward progression of the fire has been stopped and engine crews will monitor the fire overnight.
Crews will return to the fire in the morning to continue reinforcing containment lines and performing mop-up operations as needed.
