Evening Update: As of this evening, the #oakridgefire_co is at 1,190 acres with 0 containment. Part of the fire received some rain late this afternoon with additional rain anticipated across the entire fire, including Beulah, over night and into tomorrow morning.

Fire fighter operations continued throughout the day into the evening. In Division Alpha, heavy equipment was used to improve and expand current lines. Additionally, personnel and equipment strengthened an existing helispot to improve accessibility and egress. In Division Uniform, heavy equipment was used to expand existing lines and scouting was done to identify best areas for contingency planning. In Division Kilo, further improvement of an existing helispot was done to provide better access and egress that will allow for expanded operations in the division.

The structure protection group completed assessments in the Beulah Highlands area today, and will be headed to the North Creek drainage to begin assessments tomorrow.
