The firelines held the afternoon of June 27, 2024, after active winds moved through the area. The lines are holding. 

A cabin is being plumbed with water lines to provide structure protection in Middle Creek Canyon.

A total of eight loads of retardant were dropped on the fire on June 26, 2024, primarily on the north and west flanks of the fire.
