Forsythe II Prescribed Burn

Ignitions have ceased for today on Forsythe II. Crews treated an additional 7 acres for a total of 307 acres since the start of this prescribed burn earlier this month. 24 personnel will staff the area overnight. Smoke may continue to be visible.
Today we focused on interior clean up burning where we treat remaining pockets in previously treated areas that didn’t burn to standards. This practice helps us secure the treated area so that no large untreated pockets can intensify wildfire.
