The fire is holding at Devil’s Gulch, due to crews working around the clock in hazardous conditions. There was no growth on the fire today. Cooler temperatures and higher humidity are expected to continue. There is a chance of rain and thunderstorms overnight. Damage inspections are nearly complete.
REMINDER: Mariposa County is hosting a Local Assistance Center (LAC) for ANY community member who has been directly impacted by the Oak Fire. This includes those who are/were evacuated, have/had power outages and those whose homes or properties were damaged or destroyed. See below for more information.

All other waste will not be accepted at this location. The Mariposa County Landfill will be open usual hours for additional items and can accept spoiled food waste on site at no cost. Please call the Health and Human Services Agency for further assistance or services at (209) 966-2000.
