Lucerne Fire Camp is set up to support firefighters on Pioneer Fire 6-15-24. This camp has yurts for office space, sanitation facilities, a kitchen area, and other supplies needed to support firefighters working on Pioneer Fire. Across Lake Chelan from the fire, it will provide a base for the firefighters much closer than Chelan, and much safer than camping near the fire.
