USFS Pioneer Fire Closure Order 06-27-2024

An updated US Forest Service closure order is in effect for much of the Chelan Ranger District north of Lake Chelan, due to the Pioneer Fire. Please see the attached official closure order and map for specific information on open and closed trails, roads, and developed campgrounds. The communities of Chelan, Manson, and Stehekin are open and continue to welcome visitors.

National Park Service closure related to Pioneer Fire 06-14-2024

CLOSURE AND PUBLIC USE LIMIT National Park Service has announced a temporary emergency closure due to wildland fire activity in North Cascades National Park. The closure is effective immediately and remains in effect until further notice. The closure is due to the Pioneer Fire. Lakeshore Trail from Stehekin to Flick Creek Campsite is closed.

A closure order is in process for the Lakeshore Trail from Prince Creek to Moore Point and portions of the Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness. The closure will include Prince Creek, Cascade Creek, and Moore Point boat in campgrounds.
