People and Equipment:      432 personnel, crews, engines, dozers, water tenders and air support Current Situation:    3-9 Fire: 400 acres with 0% containment    Pilot Fire: 500 acres with 6% containment      Pelllitreau Fire: 3.4 acres with 100% containment     Sulphur Fire: 33 acres with 75% containment
CURRENT CONDITIONS: These fires started from the lightning that moved through northern California earlier this week.  The South Fork Complex includes the 3-9, Sulfur, Pellitreau fires and the Pilot Fire.  California Interagency Incident Management Team 11 with Chris Fogle is organizing the suppression efforts for both Forests as of this morning at 8AM.
Current Conditions: The South Fork Complex is basically two major fires: the Pilot and the 3-9. Neither of these fires have grown significantly over the last 24 hours. Firefighter priorities are to build contingency line on the west side of the 3-9 fire as this fire threatens the community of Hyampom. The second priority is to halt any northward movement of the Pilot Fire as the transmission line that provides power for the coastal communities Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna is due north of the Pilot fire.
