Weather Concerns | It was dry and warm today with afternoon temperatures between 80-85 and the relative humidity between 15-21 percent. Ridgetop winds were predominantly from the west at 5-10 mph. Upslope and upvalley winds were also observed as well. Winds have varied in direction and speed across the terrain with higher gusts along west-east drainages, including along SR19 A cooling trend begins on Tuesday, and the relative humidity will be higher as well. Highs will be in the 70s and the relative humidity in the 20s. There will be a slight uptick in winds on Tuesday with gusts 15-17 mph along the ridgetops and 13-15 mph where the surface winds align with terrain. Wednesday wil be much cooler with showers likely. There is an excellent chance for wetting rain (that is, greater than 0.10 inch), and around a 30% chance for 0.25 inch of rain Wednesday through Thursday morning. |
