A new start, not connected with the Cedar Fire, but located east of it, began this afternoon at approximately 3:29 pm. The Santa Catalina Ranger District Type 4 Incident Organization will manage the initial attack and is currently responding with local resources. This is a developing incident, additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

For the safety of yourself and the firefighters, please avoid the area as there will be additional fire traffic. 

If you fly, we can’t 

The area is under Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs). Individuals who have been determined to have endangered manned aircraft or people on the ground with a UAS and/or interfered with wildfire suppression may be subject to civil penalties, including fines of up to $25,000, and potentially criminal prosecution.

Residents in Oracle who are located in evacuation zones 5, 16, 17, 18, and 19 are in a GO! - Status.

Please evacuate the area immediately! A temporary evacuation site has been set up at the Mammoth Community Center, 101 W 5th St, Mammoth, AZ 85618.

CODY FIRE ALERT - SET STATUS ORACLE EVACUATION ZONES 4 & 15

Residents in Oracle who are located in evacuation zones 4, 15 are in a SET - Status. 

CODY FIRE ALERT – SET STATUS SAN MANUEL 

Residents in San Manuel are now in a SET status. 

Please remain clear of the area and stay vigilant for changing weather conditions.

Closure reopened at the HWY 77 and 79 junction and is now closed at W American Ave and American Ave, open to local residents only. Additional closure at S Veterans Memorial Blvd towards San Manuel, open to local residents only.
