Kern County Fire Department issued an evacuation warning for zone KRN-403-A (the Breckenridge area) as a result of the Borel Fire that started on Wednesday, July 24. Be aware that travel is OPEN to the public and unaffected by the evacuation WARNING in the following areas:Caliente Bodfish Road -- OPENLion's Trail -- OPENAccess to Hooper Hill -- OPEN
Evacuation Advisory The Tulare County Sheriff's Office has issued an evacuation advisory for zone TLC-E297-A. At this time, there are no current threats to life or property for zone TLC-E297-A. However, an advisory message is to notify the residents there is an active fire in the area.
Evacuation WarningThe Tulare County Sheriff's Office has issued an evacuation warning for the area north of Canebrake Road, south of Sacatar Trail, west of Inyo County line, east of the South Fork and Kern Rivers.An evacuation warning means you should prepare to evacuate the area should the fire approach your home or if ordered to do so. 
Members of California Interagency Incident Management Team 14 will provide an in-person briefing on the 2024 SQF Lightning fires—particularly Trout and Long Fires—for residents of Kennedy Meadows at noon on Friday, July 19 at Fire Station #18 (99075 Gorman Ave). Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions during this informal meeting.
