Pioneer Fire Evacuation Level Update 08-22-2024

As of 6:00 pm today, August 22, 2024, Chelan County Emergency Management will reduce the evacuation levels for the Stehekin Valley from Adam’s Point to High Bridge to a Level 1 . This change in evacuation is in response to the reduction in fire threat from the Pioneer Fire. Keep in mind that although the fire hazard has reduced, the fire is not completely out. There are also other hazards that could present themselves in the area such as debris or slides. Any trail closures on National Parks or US Forest Service Lands may still be in place so be sure to take that into account. We will share trail closure information as we receive it as well.
