Road Closure: No Road Closures.
Tuesday, Fire fighters completed containment line around the fire and began mopping up the perimeter of the fire. Current fire containment is at 15%. Small unburn islands of fuel within the fire perimeter continue to burn. Fire fighters conducted hazard tree falling along Miles-Creston road which caused temporary closure of the road.
Wednesday, Firefighter’s will continue mop up around the fire perimeter focusing on 25’ from the containment lines.
Weather: Red flag warning in effect until 10:00 pm Wednesday for poor Relative humidity recovery. High temperature is predicted to reach 90 f. Wind (20 ft.) is expected to reach 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph with the strongest winds between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
