Road Closure: No Road Closures.
Saturday, Fire fighters continued mop up along the fire perimeter extending more than 100 feet from the fire edge. Repair work continued on interior and perimeter dozer line. Division A is in patrol Status. This work increased fire containment to 86%.
Sunday, Firefighter’s will continue mop up around the fire perimeter and continue repairing interior and perimeter dozer lines. This is expected to be the last shift for fire fighters. At the completion of the shift the fire is expected to be in patrol status. Excess resources will be released to return to home units or are being sent to other fires.
Weather: Sunday weather is predicted high of 88 degrees, with winds (20ft) out of the northeast 4 - 6 mph, shifting to the southwest in the afternoon.
