Davenport, WA - The Seven Bays Fire is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Davenport, WA. This fire started on Sunday, September 4th and has burned approximately 1,232 acres of rangeland, stubble and scattered forest lands (acre increase due to mapping adjustments). The fire is 65% contained.
Road Closure: No Road Closures.
Friday, Fire fighters continued mop up along the fire perimeter extending more than 75 feet from the fire edge. Division A is now in patrol status. Repair work began on interior dozer line. This work increased fire containment to 65%.
Saturday, Firefighter’s will continue mop up around the fire perimeter and continue repairing interior and perimeter dozer lines. Excess resources will be released.
Weather: Saturday weather is predicted high of 84 degrees, with winds (20ft) out of the northeast 8 - 11 mph with gusts to 18 mph.
