Bills Creek Fire

The Bill's Creek Fire was transferred from Mineral Wells to the North West branch of Texas A & M Forest Service this morning.
The fire remains at 35 acres is 80% contained.
Currently on the fire there is no smoke showing. Crews are patrolling and monitoring the fire area. They will also be available for Initial Attack if forecasted storms bring lightning.
Weather: While hot and dry conditions continue, temperatures are expected to be cooler today and for the next several days. The forecast calls for scattered clouds, a 30% chance of rain, and light winds. Showers may develop with occasional lightning. Strong gusty winds will be a threat with any storms that develop.
