Fire Smoldering of hotspots around and within the Chilcoot and Cougar fires is responsible for some reduced AQ mainly in
proximity to the fires. Some clouds along with higher humidity has led to reduced natural fire activity this week. Unseasonably hotter and drier conditions are forecast beginning today, and continuing late this week, which could lead to increased fire and smoke potential for the region.
