The Sheriff's Office is doing escorts to private property this morning, July 14, 2024. Escorts will be conducted from 7am to 10am only. Residents will be escorted to their property and allowed 15 minutes to gather personal property or tend to animals. They will be escorted out of the evacuation area. Escorts will be conducted on a first come first serve basis. Residents wanting an escort on the Canyon Ferry Road evacuation area will need to respond to the roadblock at Canyon Ferry Road and Jimtown Road. Please do not block the roadway and pull off onto the shoulder. Residents wanting an escort on the York Road evacuation area need to respond to the roadblock at Jimtown Road and York Road. Again, escorts will be on a first come first serve basis and will be limited to 15 minutes.
