CURRENT STATUS
The Trail Ridge fire is currently burning on the border of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge and Bitterroot National Forests in the 2000 Mussigbrod Fire burn area. Today's acreage has been updated to reflect last night's InfraRed mapping. Fire Leadership observed growth on all side's of this fire yesterday, with the primary fire behavior consisting of group torching, flanking, and backing. This growth resulted in additional planning on the part of the Bitterroot National Forest for closures, and that information will be made available as it becomes published. BDNF and Bitterroot NF Fire and Forest Leadership are asking that the public please stay out of the area.

WEATHER AND FIRE BEHAVIOR
Warm, dry, and stable conditions are expected throughout this operational period. Stability will be aided by smoke. Each afternoon will be breezy but winds may not materialize until late afternoon due to the stability. Monday may be the breezier of the two days as jet energy is introduced into the zonal flow aloft.
