CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER WATCH : RED FLAG WIND WARNINGS TODAY.

Fire

The Lowline wildfire is currently at 1,830 acres and 55% containment.

Smoke

Widespread smoke in the valley and areas of Gunnison and Central Gunnison County into early morning with USG - MODERATE smoke impacts in the area. Smoke will clear out by mid-day with increasing west winds in the area. Castleton Ranch area along County Road #730 area will continue to see periods of MODERATE smoke. Impacts of light smoke in the early morning areas around Almont and HWY 135 clearing out early a.m. as west winds push smoke to the east. Crested Butte will continue tp see GOOD air quality throughout the day.
