Placer County Water managers and civic leaders visited the French Meadows Reservoir Dam today and also viewed the French Meadows RX burn project conducted to increase the health of the watershed. Participants were able to speak to firefighters about what it takes to plan and conduct prescription burning which mimics the positive effects of natural wildfire on the landscape.
The French Meadows RX continues to be monitored while heat remains in the interior.
