After a successful day of prescribed burning yesterday, fire personnel are heading back out to the Scott Bar Mountain Prescribed Burn project to continue burn operations.
Up to 80 acres could be burned today, as weather and fuel conditions allow.
Smoke will be visible from the Scott Valley as well as from Scott River Road.
If travelling on the Scott River Road, please watch for fire equipment moving about the area and reduce speeds. In areas of smoke, be sure to turn on headlights.
