Firefighter Tyler Kuhn uses a device to roll up firehose no longer needed on the Bear Creek Fire. When firefighting equipment like hoses, pumps, sprinklers and portable ponds are no longer needed, the gear is sent back to the fire cache, where it is inspected and readied for use on future fires.
