Douglas, Wyo. – Crews were able to gain more containment on the La Bonte Fire yesterday. The fire is currently 3,484 acres, with 55% containment. The La Bonte Fire was first reported on Thursday, Sept. 12, burning in steep, rugged terrain approximately 6 miles west of Esterbrook, WY, and 20 miles south of Douglas, WY, on Bureau of Land Management and private lands. Cause of the fire is undetermined. 
Douglas, Wyo. – Yesterday, fire managers and crews were able to gain significant containment on the La Bonte Fire. Fire acreage remains at 3,482 acres, with 40% containment. The La Bonte Fire was first reported on Thursday, September 12, burning in steep, rugged terrain approximately 6 miles west of Esterbrook, WY, and 20 miles south of Douglas, WY, on Bureau of Land Management and private lands. Cause of the fire is undetermined. 
Douglas, Wyo. – The La Bonte Fire is currently 3,482 acres in size with 12% containment. The fire was first reported on Thursday, September 12, and is burning in steep, rugged terrain approximately 6 miles west of Esterbrook, WY, and 20 miles south of Douglas, WY, on Bureau of Land Management and private lands. Firefighting resources include 2 fire modules, 7 hand crews, 8 smokejumpers, 10 engines, 4 helicopters and 2 dozers assigned to the fire, with approximately 200 personnel. 
Douglas, Wyo. – Wyoming Team 6, a Type 3 Incident Management Team, took command of the La Bonte Fire Sunday evening. The fire is currently 3,300 acres in size with 11% containment. The La Bonte Fire was first reported on Thursday, September 12, and is currently burning in steep, rugged terrain over 20 miles south of Douglas, WY, on Bureau of Land Management and private lands.
