Special Note There will be a community meeting for the Willamette Complex North tomorrow—Tuesday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Sweet Home Fire Station located at 1099 Long Street, Sweet Home, OR.  CURRENT SITUATIONThe public may see or smell smoke within the proximity of the Ore Fire, due to a combination of tactical firing operations and weaker west winds across the area.

Special Note: Today, management of the Pyramid and Slate Fires transitioned to Rocky Mountain Complex Incident Management Team 1. Pyramid Fire (1,195acres, 31% contained)Division A and E: Crews have been and will continue to improve direct and indirect control lines, cleaning up dozer line edges to hold the fire as it continues to move slowly toward the control lines.
