The Central Idaho Dispatch Zone is at MODERATE Fire Danger  Salmon, Idaho- October 4, 2022- The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had one (1) new fire in the last week.  To date, there have been 48 wildfires reported on the Salmon-Challis National Forest.  41 of those reported fires are out.   

The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had three (3) new fires in the last week.  To date, there have been 47 wildfires reported on the Salmon-Challis National Forest.  41 of those reported fires are out.

The Central Idaho Dispatch Zone is at VERY HIGH Fire Danger CENTRAL IDAHO FIRE RESTRICTIONS AREA IS IN STAGE I FIRE RESTRICTIONS

The Central Idaho Dispatch Zone is at EXTREME Fire Danger CENTRAL IDAHO FIRE RESTRICTIONS AREA IS IN STAGE I FIRE RESTRICTIONS The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had six (6) new fires in the last week.  To date, there have been 43 wildfires reported on the Salmon-Challis National Forest.  35 of those reported fires are out.

FIRE SUMMARY SEPTEMBER 5, 2022 The Central Idaho Dispatch Zone is at VERY HIGH Fire Danger CENTRAL IDAHO FIRE RESTRICTIONS AREA IS IN STAGE I FIRE RESTRICTIONS   Salmon, Idaho- September 5, 2022- The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had two (2) new lightning fires in the last week. 

FIRE SUMMARY AUGUST 29, 2022 The Central Idaho Dispatch Zone is at VERY HIGH Fire Danger CENTRAL IDAHO FIRE RESTRICTIONS AREA IS IN STAGE I FIRE RESTRICTIONS   The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had five (5) new lightning fires in the last week.   

The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had seven (7) new lightning fires in the last week.    Duck Fire (August 21): The lightning fire, located approximately three (3) miles southwest of Yellowjacket Guard Station on the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District was estimated at 0.10 acres.  Four (4) firefighters suppressed the fire burning in Douglas Fir.  The fire is out.  

The Salmon-Challis National Forest has had five new fires in the last week.  In addition to the five new fires on the Forest, Salmon-Challis National Forest firefighters assisted with three fires on Bureau of Land Management lands.

    FIRE SUMMARY AUGUST 01, 2022 The Central Idaho Dispatch Zone is at EXTREME Fire Danger CENTRAL IDAHO FIRE RESTRICTIONS AREA IS IN STAGE I FIRE RESTRICTIONS   Boat Ramp (July 29):  The fire was located approximately 28 miles northwest of Stanley on the Middle Fork Ranger District.  The 0.10 acre fire is out.
