**This Incident will have No more Updates**
The Margarita Fire started August 2nd at approximately 12:30am. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene in response to a 911 call. The Quinault Indian Nation requested support on August 3rd and the Western Washington Type 3 Incident Management Team responded.
Effective Friday, August 11, 2023 at 7:00 am, the Margarita Fire has been turned back over to the Quinault Fire Department. For Quinault Nation residents, brief information updates will continue through internal channels for the next several days as the Quinault Fire Deparment continues to suppress the fire.
