The Graff Point Fire started on Friday, July 12 from a lightning strike on private property. Rugged terrain has challenged firefighting resources from the start as the fire burns in dense vegetation.

Crews will continue with direct attack from the heel of the fire up both flanks securing the fireline.
Resources will also continue progressing from the top of the fire securing the fireline to the Northeast
side of the fire. 

Projected Incident Activity

Fire will continue to make short uphill runs and move in directions influenced by diurnal winds and outflows.
