OtherOn the evening of July 10, 2022, the fire started 25 miles of Colorado City. Multiple local fire departments responded to assist, along with State resources from Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS). TAMFS and local fire department are working in unified command.

Otherwise, triple-digit temperatures are again expected, with relative humidity falling to near critical levels. A Fire Danger Statement has been issued this afternoon and evening due to critically dry fuels and ERCs near the climatological maximum for this time of year. |
