Weather Concerns | Hot and dry conditions are in place today, with current RH values in the upper 30s expected to dip to near or just below 30 percent between 3-5 PM. Winds have been light and relatively variable, but mainly out of the S to SE at 5-10 mph. There is a low (~15%) chance for isolated shower/storms to develop in the area between 4 and 8pm, which could provide some relief in the former of rain and/or higher RH if it came close enough to the site. There is an even lower chance this activity could also lead to briefly higher and more variable winds. More likely, the heat and humidity will continue with little to no relief. Look for RH recovery to 50% by about 10pm and to the upper 80s just before sunrise tomorrow. Then, expect similar conditions to today in terms of winds and RH, but with no rain chances in the afternoon. |
