Current Weather
Weather Concerns

Mostly sunny skies greeted the Morgan Fire Friday morning with freezing temperatures and light winds. A weather system brought
an increase in clouds throughout the day across western and central Oregon. Scattered rain showers developed late afternoon
and will continue through Saturday morning across the fire area. While a few snowflakes are possible, precipitation is expected to
fall as rain with 0.1"-0.3" of total precipitation by late morning Saturday. Winds will increase and shift northerly Friday evening
into the overnight hours; strongest on ridgetops and where terrain and wind align.

Spotty showers will continue into Saturday afternoon before drier air filters into the region. Winds will remain out of the north, with
gusts 20-28 mph Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday afternoon. Conditions will trend warmer and drier to start the week, although winds will remain fairly light
