Significant Events

Fire behavior is minimal. Stump holes and root systems continue to smolder. Fire is also creeping slowly in duff.

Outlook
Planned Actions

Monitor the contained line to ensure fire does not move further onto private jurisdiction or cross the Hwy 53. Engage fire utilizing direct and indirect tactics that provide highest probability of success while limiting exposure to fire fighters.

Projected Incident Activity

If conditions continue to dry out, a slight increase in fire activity may occur that would produce more smoke from smoldering stump holes and root systems.

Current Weather
Weather Concerns

The expected drying trend has continued. Storms have occurred in the area but not over the fire and this will continue for the next several days.
