Containment has increased to 50%. This morning, crews worked with helicopters to address hotspots along the perimeter and interior of the fire. Throughout the afternoon and evening, crews will perform mop up procedures for the fire, which involves physically extinguishing or removing burning material near the fire perimeter to make a fire less likely to escape control lines. |
