East Fork Fire Road Closure Order

The Flathead National Forest rescinded its previously issued area closure order (#01-01-08-23-20) on September 2, 2023. The Kootenai National Forest-Fortine Ranger District and the Flathead National Forest-Tally Lake Ranger District have issued a new revised road closure order (#01-01-03-23-12), effective September 2, 2023.

East Fork Fire Closure Order

Closure Order 01-14-03-23-10 is now in effect on the Fortine Ranger District for roads in the vicinity of the East Fork Fire. The purpose of this order is to provide for public and firefighter safety due to active fire suppression activities on the East Fork Fire.
