The communities along the Highway 89 corridor, north of Flagstaff, from Campbell Avenue to the north entrance of Forest Service Road 545 (Wupatki National Monument) will be downgraded from “SET” (Pre-evacuation) to “READY” status.

U.S Highway 89 closed near Tunnel Fire east of Flagstaff

A message from ADOT on Hwy 89: U.S. 89 is closed in both directions north of Flagstaff, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The closure is due to a wildfire burning in the area. Northbound lanes are closed at milepost 425. Southbound lanes are closed at milepost 435. There is no estimated reopening time.
