The 8 Road Fire was reported on October 15, 2022 at about 4 p.m. and is burning on Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) land in timber and brush of the Elbe Hills State Forest, about 4 miles east of Eatonville. Command of the incident was returned to DNR on Friday, October 21. The cause is under investigation.
