At roughly 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 29th, Texas A&M Forest Service received a request for assistance for a wildfire 1 mile South of Wichita Falls near the junction of HWY 281 and 287. Multiple structures are threatened and local engines are currently engaged in structure protection. Agency crews are currently working in unified command with locals and aviation resources are working to slow the fire's perimeter.
