PINCER CREEK FIRE CLOSURE  
 
Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 551 and 36 CFR § 261.50(a) & (b), and to provide for public safety, the following acts are prohibited within the Mt. Baker Ranger District of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest as described below and shown in Exhibit A. This Order is effective August 13, 2021, through December 31, 2021, unless rescinded sooner.
 
 PROHIBITIONS:
 
 1. Being on any National Forest System Trail, [36 CFR § 261.55(a)].
 
2. Being on any National Forest System Road, [36 CFR § 261.54(e)].
 
3. Entering or using a developed recreation site or portion thereof. [36 CFR § 261.58(b)]
 
 
CLOSURE AREA DESCRIPTION:
 
The entirety of Cascade River Trail #769, to include the Cascade River Trailhead and the entire lengths of Middle Fork Cascade Spur Trail #769.1 and South Fork Cascade Spur Trail #769.2, beginning at its inception at the intersection with Forest System Road #15 (Cascade River Road) and continuing southeast to its terminus, located within T34N, R13E; Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 20, 21, 28 & 33 and T35N, R13E; Sections 3 & 4, as shown in Exhibit A. 

The entirety of Forest System Road #1540 (Sibley Creek Road) beginning at its inception at the intersection with Forest Road #15 (Cascade River Road) and continuing east to its terminus at the Hidden Lake Trailhead, located within T35N, R12E; Sections 15 & 16, as shown in Exhibit A.
 
The entirety of Hidden Lake Trail #745 beginning at its inception at the Hidden Lake Trailhead and continuing southeast to its terminus at the Hidden Lake Peak Lookout, located within T35N, R12E; Sections 13, 14, 23 & 26, as shown in Exhibit A.Forest System Road #15 (Cascade River Road) from mile post 16.0, situated at the east boundary of the Mineral Park Campground, to mile post 18.1, situated at the boundary of North Cascades National Park, located within T34N, R13E; Section 6 and T35N, R13E; Section 31, as shown in Exhibit A.
 
 EXEMPTIONS:
 
 Pursuant to 36 CFR § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this Order:
 
1. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire-fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
 
2. Persons with Forest Service Permit No. FS-7700-48 (Permit for Use of Roads, Trails, or Areas Restricted by Regulation Order), specifically exempting them from this order.
 
These prohibitions are in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CFR Part 261, Subpart A. Violations of this prohibition are punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 for an individual or $10,000 for an organization, or imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or both (16 U.S.C.§ 551; 18 U.S.C. §§ 3551, 3559, 3571, and 3581).
