La Pierta Fire Update: March 14, 0700 hours
Locations: Starr County, south of La Rosita
Acreage: 124 acres
Containment: 95%

Crews worked well into yesterday night to suppress and contain the fire. Burn outs and dozer line construction were completed with focus on areas that will be affected by today's expected wind shift. 

This fire has been transferred over to local resources to monitor.
