The Rush Fire fire is currentlyestimated at 12497 acres and is 48%contained. Fire activity for the Rush Firefire is expected to increase.

SMOKE

Red Flag Wind Warning: South windstoday around 10:00 am (CDT) from 20-30 mph with possible gusts up to 50mph expected until Tuesday eveningaround 8 pm (CDT). Smoke will bevisible in the area as winds and fireactivity increase. Smoke from the firewill travel north then switch to north-east throughout the day. Countiesdirectly north of the fire will see impactsfrom smoke later in the day.
