Tres Rios Field Office continue prescribed pile burning on West Dolores Rim

BLM Southwest District will continue prescribed pile burning on the Tres Rios Field Office BLM-administered lands in the West Dolores Rim area.
The project area is located approx. 2.5 miles east of Egnar, CO and Highway 141. If conditions are favorable, 75 piles of pinyon pine and juniper debris that were removed to improve sage grouse habitat will be burned. Smoke maybe visible from Hwy 141 and Egnar, CO.
