BLM Southwest District will conduct prescribed pile burning on the Tres Rios and Uncompahgre Field Offices BLM-administered lands.
If conditions are favorable today (2/2/2022), prescribed pile burning will take place in the West Dolores Rim area located approx. 2.5 miles east of Egnar, CO and Highway 141; and Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area located approx. 2 miles east of Austin, CO and 1 mile south of Hwy 92 on the BLM-administered lands. Smoke maybe visible near those locations.
