Prescribed Pile Burning planned for Dry Creek Basin & West Dolores Rim

March 11, 2022: BLM Southwest District will continue prescribed pile burning on the Tres Rios Field Office BLM-administered lands in the West Dolores Rim and Dry Creek Basin areas if conditions are favorable.
The West Dolores Rim project area is located approx. 2.5 miles east of Egnar, CO and Highway 141, and Dry Creek Basin project is located near U29 Rd north of Highway 141 approx. 15 miles southwest of Norwood, CO. Smoke maybe visible near these areas.
