The Glass fire is located east of Glass Mountain on the Doublehead Ranger District and started on July 1 around 1:00 PM .
Due to more accurate mapping, the Glass Fire is 7.5 acres and is 50% contained. Firefighters will continue containment efforts today by building and reinforcing containment lines. The Cause of the fire is under investigation.
